Birth of Video

Video (or moving electronic images, according to Wouter du Toit in his video, “How was Video Invented”)came about from changing a 2-dimensional light signal into a 1-dimensional electronic signal.

  • How was this done? The first time it was while using a very early version of the fax machine. (We now think of the fax machine as archaic but it’s more archaic then we’d guess: It’s first version dates back to 1843!) (This section needs work!)
